At Wahaa! we take your privacy very seriously and we have created this privacy statement in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to your privacy, on the internet with our web site.

 The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for our website.

What this Privacy Policy Covers and Does Not Cover

  • We do not offer your information to outside sources about you without your prior consent or permission.

  • We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our servers, and to help the administer resolve problems that may arise on our web site.

  • Your IP address is also used to help identify you and your shopping cart. 

  • We use cookies to deliver content specific to your interests.

  • Wahaa! collects personal identifiable information such as name and email address, financial information (like their account or credit card numbers), and demographic information (like their zip code, age, or income level).

  • We use customer contact information to send our members information on our ongoing auctions, classifieds and updates, directory information or problems, newsletter information, that may concern them, registration information, and information about our company, our partners and affiliates, from time to time. 

  • Users may opt-out of receiving future mailings; see the choice/opt-out section below. They may also opt-out by clicking no when they are asked to join different groups.

  • All financial information that is collected is used to bill the user for products and services.

  • Demographic and profile data is also collected at our site. We use this data to tailor the visitor's experience at our site, showing them content that we think they might be interested in, and displaying the content according to their preferences.

  • This privacy policy does not cover or apply to practices of other companies that Wahaa does not control nor own.

  • Because our site is also a directory portal and auction site which contains links to other sites. Wahaa! is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such Web sites, nor do we employ or manage other web sites and their practices. 

  • We attempt to screen all sites prior to allowing them into our directory. We cannot be responsible for there changing web information in mid stream, or switching links to adult sites.
  • If you notify us about it when you come across it in our directory or auction we will take immediate action.
  • The following websites cannot be added to our directories.   Pornographic websites, racial, defamatory or slanderous websites. Every website subscribing to our directories will be verified and checked out by us.  Thank you!
  • There are special relationships, such as "Powered by" partners, business partners, co branded sites, these relationships are addressed here in our privacy statement.
  • The information that we do share with them is of an aggregate nature such as, we use wed trends that discloses aggregated user statistics in order to describe our services to prospective partners, advertisers, and other third parties, all for lawful purposes.

Security

This site has security measures in place to protect both the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. In our Auction services we are using industry-standard SSL- encryption to protect data transmissions.

What is SSL 

SSL means (Secure Sockets Layer) this is a protocol for transmitting private documents over the internet. It was developed by Netscape Communications. SSL enables you to send personal information over the internet, in a secure protocol. SSL works by encrypting the messages that you are send to insure that all transactions are private and that your information has not been altered during transmission.

According to the answers that you have chosen, your Web site meets the guidelines of TRUSTe's Children's program. YOU MUST BE OVER THE AGE OF 18 TO PARTICIPATE IN OUR AUCTIONS.

  7. If information is collected in our databases of kids under 13 and found by us it will be destroyed immediately.

Our site provides users the opportunity to opt-out of receiving communications from us at the point where we request information about the visitor.
